Ryan Owens, CSIP
After attending Northwestern State University for Aviation Science, attaining my degree, and my CFI certificate in 2007, I began instructing at NSU for a year. In 2008, I started working at a flight school in Hammond, Louisiana. In 2010, I got a job at Acadian Ambulance, flying charter and medical flights. I flew the King Air 200, Learjet 35, and Learjet 45 interchangeably until 2017. After transferring to a local company out of New Iberia, La, we did a lot of international flights to Mexico, Caribbean Islands, and all over the United States in a Piaggio Avanti. While I was working at Acadian Ambulance in 2011, I started Owens Flight Training with a Cessna 152 and worked my way up to where I am today.

A lifelong passion for aviation, I started flying in 2011 with Ryan in the 152. Over time, I started flying the 172 and recently added Piper and Cirrus aircraft. I graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2016 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Instructing private instrument and commercial students since 2023
